From Launch to Global Leader

With projects in 20 countries, INVERS supplies carsharing companies and motor pool operations with our innovative, modular system consisting of our Software and InCar Technology. Over 45,000 vehicles are operated worldwide with our technology.

Launching a vision

The concept of INVERS started in 1993 at the University Siegen. Electrical engineer Uwe Latsch was unsatisfied with the tedious (manual) key management process for carsharing vehicles and he came up with a new solution for the problem – the first automatic carsharing system. His fascination for carsharing and this innovative idea led to the formation of the company in 1997.

Becoming a Global Leader through Innovation

Constant focus and innovation have enabled INVERS to become a global leader for carsharing technology. Today, numerous carsharing fleets and company motor pools are operated with INVERS technology. This unique combination of software and InCar Technology is developed and produced in Germany. INVERS is internationally represented with offices in Siegen and Vancouver, with about 60 employees supporting the day-to-day operations of our customers. Our clientele combines leading carsharing companies as well as innovative company and public agency motor pools.

Active and Independent

The owner-operated and dynamic high-growth company is run by founder Uwe Latsch and CEO Alexander Kirn. As an independent company, we at INVERS are actively involved in creating the future market for carsharing technology. INVERS is, as well as the sister company LapID, part of the holding company Fleet Technology. Fleet Technology combines expertise in Mobility, Shareconomy and Internet of Things.
